Why take the shuttle instead of renting?

After your travels, you arrive in Spokane. You need a rig big enough to accommodate your snow equipment and will be traveling over 8 different numbered highways, and 6 city surface streets in 3 towns, in order to get to the Nelson.

Expect the total price of a rental vehicle to include taxes, at least a tank and a half of gas and insurance. With the normally consistent snowfalls on the highways requiring fresh sanding, you will also need insurance for windshield replacements from your rental company.

Nelson is a very small town that is easy to walk around, or to hire
a short cab or shuttle to the ski hill once you are there.

Also, for local trips, Nelson Budget Car Rentals offers cheaper rates than Spokane for car rentals when taking into account the exchange rate. There is no need to have a rental car sit around while you enjoy your holiday.
